Kamunyaka is selectively handpicked to ensure even ripeness of fruit. The coffee is taken to the wet mill the same day without delay. At the wet mill the coffee is sorted by hand again to remove and missed under-ripes before being soaked and floated with clean stream water. Once washed the coffee is then dried on raised beds and constantly turned and hand sorted until final moisture content is reached. Final the coffee is screened and separated into its respective sizes.

We cup several Kenyans as this time of the year and many fall short of the renowned juicy red berry profile that Kenya is so famous for. However, Kamunyaka we have selected for its undeniable juicy fruit character.
